Dec 23 2024 - I designed and 3D printed cookie cutters in Blender 3D for the holidays. For the children!

Pixel Art Animation - in Blender 3D

Dec 22 2024 - I made a little "pixel art" animation using Blender 3D. To see the full animation visit my X post.

"Re-skinned" Controller

Sep 22 2024 - A NES-style USB game controller with 3D printed shell around it. Because why not! The badge I bought from some Etsy seller, which I had laying around doing nothing.

"C64 Case for Raspberry Pi Zero

Jul 27 2024 - I designed a 3D printable case for the Raspberry Pi Zero of the iconic Commodore 64 "bread bin".

de_dust2 - Padded Edition

Apr 12 2024 - The classic Counter-Strike map as a safe space would probably look something like this. Made in Blender 3D.

Thin client as a retro gaming PC

Feb 11 2024 - I managed to install MS-DOS 6.22 for the first time ever on this tiny PC for some retro gaming. The computer itself is a Wyse CX0/C10LE with a 1GHz VIA C7 processor, 128 MB RAM and a 2 GB DOM (solid state) drive for storage. It is completely silent and very low power consuming, needing only a 12V power supply.

Since it has USB ports, transferring files to it easy by booting into FreeDOS. Cutemouse driver works nicely with a PS/2 mouse and the lack of a natively compatible sound card is remedied by SBEMU Sound Blaster emulation.

A USB floppy drive was used to install MS-DOS. Those disks are getting so old that I kept getting many read errors, but somehow I got through it.

3rd place at Assembly Summer

Aug 6 2023 - I received an award for placing third in the fast graphics competition at Assembly Summer 2023, a huge LAN/Demoparty held annually in Helsinki Finland. A prompt of “It was working when you bought it” and 1,5h of time was given to create a picture.

The picture I made at the event.

Commodore 64 Lager

Apr 20 2023 - What if Commodore had a brewery? Imagine drinking the C64 premium lager while typing away some basic 🙃. This went viral on a few Commodore related online communities. The label design is visually very close to the original C64 User's Manual. Made in Blender 3D and Photoshop.

Retro gaming done differently

Jan 14 2023 - In how many "wrong" ways can you do retro gaming on this HP t5515 thin client computer? Not MS-DOS, but FreeDOS. Not Intel or AMD CPU, but Transmeta. Not Sound Blaster, but SB Pro compatibility on VIA chipset. No HDD, but Flash Disk on Module. No floppy or CD drive, but files can be transferred to local hard drive from a USB drive (with "retro" USB 1.1 speeds). Wolfenstein 3D seen in the back runs just fine!

🥇 1st Place at V2.fi Art Competition 🥇

Nov 10 2009 - I designed and created an image of an original weapon for a competition held by V2.fi and the published of Borderlands. It is a vacuum cleaner that can take elements from the environment and use them in creative as ammunition and other non-lethal ways. In addition to the vacuuming, it can also blow whatever material is stored (and mixed) inside.
